#1 The Bench Dog Tool

I use this all the time in my shop. It is such a helpful little tool. It has a high friction rubber surfaces and it’s durable core provide a solid grip, preventing projects from slipping while routing, sanding, carving. The best part is that it supports the workpiece without leaving marks and raise panels for edge work and finishing. They are small too, each cookie is 3″ x 1″.

#2 The Crown Scraper

The Crown Scraper is a great tool for scrapping dried glue and or shaving your wood. I love how simple and useful this tool is. If you want to see how I used this tool check out my console table build video.

#3 Digital Guage

This is an essential tool to have in your shop. This makes cutting any degree angle really easy. When you need precision I recommend using this tool for every project. The Digital angle gauge provides relative and absolute measurements as well as zero setting to any position. Extra LCD is convenient to read. Small and light, it is real easy to be carried and used. Measuring plane contains disk magnet which can be attached to the surface to be measured. It is especially easy to measure the pitch of helicopter, bevel angle of miter saw, automobile test and repair and so on.

#4 GlueBot

The GluBot from FastCap is designed by cabinetmakers and woodworkers. They are easy to fill, they don’t drip, and they dispense glue in both horizontal and vertical position it will be the best glue bottle you will ever own and I love this thing.

#5 Utility Knife

This is my absolute favorite tool in my shop. I love that it opens and closes with a simple button. The blade is interchangeable. I literally use this tool every day in my shop. The Milwaukee 48-22-1500 is a compact piece of equipment that will tear through most materials and I can truly say that. It can etch wood, cut rugs, drywall, foam, rope, cardboard, and strip wire. You can do this easily with a variety of features onboard this knife. First, its compact size allows you to work with it in tight environments. It’s lightweight, too, allowing you to work with it for extended periods of time with minimal fatigue. Its one-handed opening system gives you a hand free to steady your cutting surface. It also has an ergonomic design to it, letting you maintain a comfortable grip. An on board tape measure blade holder is also featured. Use this to grab the end of a tape measure and score simultaneously. On top of this, there is a blade already included, letting you work as soon as you take it out of the packaging.
